Gazprom gas engine fuel and AMG will develop a network of methane gas stations

The agreement on the implementation of franchise projects was signed on the first day of the SPIGF-2023.

Under the Gazprom Gas Motor Fuel franchise, nine Artmetan Group CNG stations will operate in the Nizhny Novgorod and Kursk regions.

"We see good prospects in expanding the network of gas filling stations with the help of franchise projects. We attach special importance to the implementation of joint plans with Artmetan Group in the Nizhny Novgorod and Kursk regions. According to the results of the first nine months of 2023, the Nizhny Novgorod Region ranks sixth in the country in terms of sales of compressed natural gas and demonstrates an increase of 4%. In the Kursk region, consumption increased by 11%. I am sure that as the gas filling infrastructure develops, the positive dynamics in the use of an economical alternative to gasoline and diesel in these regions will continue," commented Denis Kornienko, General Director of Gazprom Gazomotornoe Fuel.

According to the head of Artmetan Group, Andre Schumann, the growth of sales of compressed natural gas at the stations will be more than 30% per year.
